UBA

The German Environment Agency (UBA - Umweltbundesamt) is the central authority for environmental protection in Germany. Their mission is to ensure a healthy living environment by collecting and analysing environmental data, assessing ecological risks, and proving evidence-based policy advice to the federal government.
Research spans diverse fields ranging from core ecological resources like air, water, and soil, to systemic challenges such as climate change, transport, public health, sustainable consumption, and digitalisation. More information about the UBA can be found on https://www.umweltbundesamt.de/
TNO is a key scientific partner to UBA across a range of projects. We provide advanced modelling and assessment expertise on nitrogen, air quality, ultrafine particles and emissions.
